Fantasy F1 2009: Japan Results Added

Greetings. Results from the Japanese GP have been added to the Fantasy F1 standings. With players ranked #1 and #2 having identical teams, it's up to the rest of the top ten to break Metar Heller-Algazi's stranglehold on the top spot. With two rounds to go, is our winner set already?

Fantasy F1 2009: Singapore Results Posted

Hello all. Have added the results from the Singapore Grand Prix to the standings. All those of you who stuck by Timo Glock & Toyota must be feeling good right now!

A couple of things to watch out for: it's entirely possible that Lewis Hamilton could win all of the remaining races this year, and we're about to see the rise of Engine Penalties.

Fantasy F1 2009: Italy Results Added

Now that we know that Renault are not to be removed from the 2009 championship, the results from Monza have been added to the standings. Whilst our leader from Spa survived the race with lead intact, there has been plenty of movement elsewhere in the table, notably in the middle of the top ten. Check out the new rankings now!

Scottish Hillclimb Championship at Forrestburn

A family trip to the Scottish Hillclimb Championship at Forrestburn saw the clan witness 80-odd cars tearing up the tiny track under the auspices of Monklands Sporting Car Club.

An interesting array of machinery and a great, albeit windy, day. Here's a selection of photos from the event.

Fantasy F1 2009: Belgium Results Added

A bit of a topsy-turvy race in Belgium. Kimi came out of hibernation - as he does here every year - from an incredulous Giancarlo Fisichella. Yes, that's right, and not an epic typo.

So, another week of shifts in the table, then. Not another new leader, but plenty of movement as most of the top twenty scored poorly.

Fantasy F1 2009: Europe Results Posted

With each of the top four championship protagonists, plus Lewis Hamilton, seemingly determined to let the other guys share the spoils, it's another topsy-turvy week for giles-guthrie.com's Fantasy F1 competition.

We have another change at the top, and realistically, anyone from the top 6 could take the spoils(*) come the end of the year. Check out the new rankings now!

(*) we've discussed the issue of "spoils" before. Don't get all disappointed when you find out that there aren't any.

Edinburgh Festival Photos

An hour spent on the Royal mile today revealed a rich seam of people plugging their festival shows, and proved a target-rich-environment for the 1d MkIII and 135L.

Make no mistake, these people are working hard, and with the T-shirts, and leaflets, the investment is high.
